Ivy Chen graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts and previously worked with the Cultural Troupe of the China Armed Police Force. She has extensive stage and teaching experience and has been teaching at Lilian Dance Academy for ten years.

Lead dancer in the 'Singing Nanniwan' segment of the large-scale dance drama 'Yan'an Memory'. Participated in 'Song to the Sky,' which won first prize in the military dance competition. Performed in the dance 'Butterfly Lovers' at the 2009 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, winning first prize for the most beloved audience program in the song and dance category. Represented the Armed Police Cultural Troupe in large-scale performances organized by the Ministry of Culture and China Central Television. Participated in cultural dance exchange performances in major U.S. cities (New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia) and in multiple Chinese provinces (Xinjiang, Gansu, Guangdong).
Ivy believes dance should showcase diversity and personal style. She is dedicated to teaching various dance forms, focusing on students' comprehensive development in both technique and self-expression. She encourages students to explore different dance styles, discover their unique charm, and cultivate confidence and creativity through practice. With age-appropriate teaching plans and strong professionalism, she becomes good friends with children and is deeply loved by her students.
