Dance Studio Policies
1. Class Registration and Payment
- All classes must be registered and paid for in advance; payment secures your spot.
- A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $50 applies to new students. Students returning after 12 or more months of absence are treated as new students.
- Trial classes are $20 per class for new students (one-time only). Drop-in rates are $45 per class for adults and $50–$65 per class for children.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the class start date are eligible for a refund of 85% of tuition, minus a 3% processing fee.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the class start date are non-refundable, but the full tuition may be converted to 100% studio credit.
- Once classes have begun, no refunds or credit transfers are permitted.
3. Rescheduling & Make-up Classes
- Children's classes: up to three (3) make-ups per course per semester; make-ups must be used within the same semester.
- Adult classes: up to three (3) make-ups per quarter; make-ups must be used within the same quarter.
- Make-up credit must be requested at least 24 hours before the missed class.
- Make-ups may only be applied to classes of the same length or shorter than the original.
- If a scheduled make-up class is also missed, no further rescheduling will be offered.
- No-shows without a prior credit request are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not eligible for a make-up.
- On performance days, attendance is automatically recorded; no refunds or make-ups are offered.
4. Arrival & Attendance
- Consistent attendance is expected to support progress and class cohesion.
5. Dress Code
- Proper dance attire and footwear are required. Please refer to class-specific dress codes posted on our website or provided during registration.
6. Studio Etiquette
- Be respectful of instructors and fellow students.
- No food or gum in the studio; water in closed containers is permitted.
- Please silence phones and avoid disruptions during class.
7. Health & Safety
- Do not attend class if you are feeling unwell, injured, or recovering from illness.
- Inform the instructor of any injuries or physical limitations before class begins.
- The studio reserves the right to remove any participant who endangers themselves or others.
8. Photography & Media
- Photos or videos may be taken during class for promotional purposes. Please inform us in writing if you prefer not to be featured.
- Students are not permitted to record classes without instructor approval.
9. Weather & Emergency Closures
- In the event of inclement weather or emergency closures, updates will be posted via email and message.
- Affected classes will be rescheduled or credited toward a future session.
10. Studio Property
- Please treat studio equipment and space with care.
- The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
11. Policy Agreement
- By registering for a class, students acknowledge that they have read and agreed to the above policies.
